Matt Wells

Matt Wells is a versatile producer and actor with a diverse background in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as a Producer at Greater Hood Productions since January 2022, Matt has also been an actor with ACTRA since 2012, acquiring training from prestigious institutions such as Second City and the Ivana Chubbuck Acting School. Significant television credits include roles in acclaimed series such as "Schitt’s Creek," "Designated Survivor," and "Titans." In addition to acting, Matt has hosted the "Good Things with Matt Wells" podcast and worked as a music journalist, interviewing legendary artists across various genres. As a musician, Matt fronted the Newfoundland hardcore/metal band Bucket Truck, performing extensively for over a decade. Recently, Matt served as a Story Editor at BGM Inc. and received accolades for the short film "The New Normal," which won Best International Comedy at the 2021 Venice Film Awards.
