Alan Liu

Alan Liu is a versatile professional with a background in software engineering and web development, currently volunteering with Acts2 Network to mentor students in Christianity fundamentals and English conversation. As a Software Engineer I at Costco Travel, Alan managed customer-facing applications and played a critical role in legal compliance within the development process. Previous experience includes developing a personalized recommendation system and automated tools for historical research at the UW Svoboda Diaries Project. Alan led the Applied Analytics Club at UW, promoting data science literacy through workshops and collaborative events. Additionally, volunteer activities span various roles including support for church services and contributions to community organizations like the Low Income Housing Institute.
