Ronald Dameron

Ronald Dameron has extensive work experience in the field of database administration and development. Ronald began their career in 1999 at Intermedia Communications, where they worked as a Senior Database Programmer/Analyst. During their time there, they aggregated data from multiple billing systems and automated repetitive tasks to streamline financial analysis and reporting.

In 2000, Dameron joined Best Software as a Database Administrator. Here, they supported production SQL Server databases for approximately 70 customers and implemented interfaces between the Imperativ HRMS database and third-party payroll and insurance processors.

Following their time at Best Software, Dameron joined Verizon Wireless in 2001 as a Database Administrator/Developer. Ronald designed a data model to track cell site construction and coded complex stored procedures to migrate legacy data to the new model.

In 2002, Dameron joined Washington Mutual Finance/CitiFinancial as a Database Administrator/Developer. Ronald stayed at this company until 2005, responsible for database administration and development tasks.

From 2005 to 2006, Dameron worked at Raymond James Financial as a Database Administrator.

In 2006, they joined Metlife as a Senior Database Administrator and eventually became the Lead Database Administrator in 2009. Dameron worked at Metlife until 2015.

Most recently, Dameron has been working at Actsoft Inc since 2015. Ronald started as the Lead Database Administrator and later transitioned into the role of DevOps Tech Lead in November 2018.

Ronald Dameron pursued their education from 1984 to 1988 at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Ronald obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management during this time. In terms of additional certifications, Ronald obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in March 2022.
