Daniel Munro is the Director of Research and Innovation at Actua, Canada’s leading youth STEM outreach organization, and the Co-Director of Shift Insights, focusing on insights into the opportunities and challenges of Canada in the digital age. They are also a Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto, with a research focus on science and innovation policy, skills and education policy, and applied ethics. Previously, Daniel held various roles, including Director of Policy Projects at the Munk School, Associate Director of Public Policy at the Conference Board of Canada, and Senior Analyst at the Council of Canadian Academies. Daniel earned a B.A. in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from Western University, and a Ph.D. from MIT.
