Jessica Bae has had a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2021, they were a Client Strategy Intern at VIA, where they were responsible for spearheading communication between the client and the creative team and conducting competitor/market research. In 2020, they were an Intern at both Good Counsel Services, Inc. and iBec Creative, where they learned and applied digital marketing skills and designed and developed a microsite for a nonprofit client. In 2019, they were a Maine Community Fellow at ArtVan, where they assisted the summer art programs and created art with children in under-resourced neighborhoods. In 2018, they were a Common Good Grant McKeen Center Fellow, College House Proctor, Outing Club Officer, Undergraduate Research Fellow, Antiracism Fellow at McKeen Center for the Common Good, Real Talk On Race Facilitator, Burnett House Programming Chair, Common Good Grant Committee Member, Office Assistant, and Common Good Day Assistant Coordinator at Bowdoin College, as well as a Mathematics Tutor at Northwestern Education Center. In 2017, they were a Camp Counselor at Kidnectivity, where they provided one-on-one assistance to a 12-year-old child with hemiplegia. In 2022, they will be a Product Marketer at Actuate.

Jessica Bae attended Adlai E. Stevenson High School from 2014 to 2018, where they earned their High School Diploma. Jessica then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Computer Science from Bowdoin College, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In January 2020, they obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from Wilderness Medical Associates International.
