Chris O'Connell

From 2015 to 2020, Chris O’Connell was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Waters Corporate. Prior to joining Waters, Mr. O’Connell held roles of increasing responsibility at Medtronic from 1995 to 2015 where he finally assumed a role as executive vice president and group president. He joined Aceto’s board in 2021 and brings broad expertise in life sciences and medical devices and a passion for innovation, people, and sustainable growth. He is also Chairman of the Board at Covaris.

Mr. O’Connell was named #36 on Forbes 2019 list of America’s most innovative leaders. He serves on the board of visitors of Northwestern University’s College of Arts and Sciences, board of advisors of Northwestern University’s Chemistry of Life Processes Institute, and advisory board of the Ron Burton Training Village. Mr. O’Connell holds a BA from Northwestern University and MBA from Harvard University.
