Perry Binder has worked in various positions since 1974. Perry Binder obtained their MD from Northwestern University in 1965-1969. Perry then completed an Internship at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1969-1970. Following this, they completed an Ophthalmology Residency Program at the University of Southern California from 1970-1973. After this, they completed a Corneal Fellowship at the University of Florida from 1973-1974. Perry then worked as an Associate Professor at UC San Diego from 1974-1981. In 2011-2019, they worked as a Clinical Professor, non-salaried at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute in Ophthalmology. In 2012, they obtained a Medical License from the Medical Board of California and in 2013 they obtained a Medical License from the Medical Board of Idaho.
