Michael J. Bender

Michael J. Bender currently serves as the CEO of Kohl's, where they drive the company's growth, profitability, and strategic direction, overseeing a vast operations network including over 1,100 stores and 100,000 associates. With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in major retail and consumer brands, Bender previously held positions such as President and CEO of Eyemart Express from 2018 to 2022 and various executive roles at Walmart. Bender began their career at PepsiCo and has held leadership positions at companies including Cardinal Health and Victoria's Secret. They earned a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
