Jay Allison

Jay Allison is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering for Application Development at Acuity Brands since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jay held various leadership positions at Synapse Wireless, Inc. from June 2014 to August 2022, including Senior Director of Software Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed cross-functional collaboration and product roadmapping. Jay's earlier experience includes engineering management roles at ADTRAN and a foundation in semiconductor design research during tenures as a graduate and undergraduate research assistant at Mississippi State University. Education includes advanced degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University and The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
