Michael J. Bender is the CEO of Kohl’s, responsible for the company’s growth and strategic direction, overseeing its extensive store base and workforce. With over 30 years of leadership experience in major retail and consumer brands, Bender led Eyemart Express as President and CEO from 2018 to 2022 and held various executive roles at Walmart, including Chief Operating Officer of Global eCommerce. Earlier in their career, Bender held senior positions at Cardinal Health and Victoria’s Secret and began with PepsiCo in sales, finance, and operations. Bender holds a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
