Sam Kirk

Sam Kirk is a finance professional currently serving as the Vice President and Corporate Controller at Acuity Brands since 2025. Previously, Sam held various positions at Acuity Brands, including Director of Accounting from 2016 to 2019 and Vice President of Accounting from 2019 to 2025. Before joining Acuity Brands, Sam was a Manager of Financial Reporting at Coca-Cola European Partners from 2015 to 2016 and began their career as a Staff Auditor and later as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young between 2011 and 2012. Sam earned both a Master’s and a BBA in Accounting from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
