Simon Coops has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. In 1981, they joined Talisman Group as a Director and later founded Talisman Information Systems in 1983. In 1983, they also established an Executive Search business and eventually sold it to Penna Consulting in 1998. At Penna Consulting, they served as a Director, where they developed new businesses and managed service offerings. In 2007, Coops became the Chief Executive Officer of Acuity Coaching Ltd, now known as Acuity Global Development (AGD), where they focused on expanding the business and positioning it in key markets. Simon'sobjective was to build the biggest coaching business globally by offering tailored solutions to clients.
Simon Coops earned a BSc degree in Automotive Engineering & Design from Loughborough University between 1977 and 1981. Prior to that, they attended Arnold High School, although the specific duration is unknown.
