Brian Smart is a Principal Scientist at Acuity Spatial Genomics, Inc, with previous experience as an Associate Director at ELEGEN. Before that, Brian worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Agilent Technologies. Brian started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and later as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Institute for Systems Biology. Brian holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Washington, an MS in Chemistry from UCLA, and a BS in Chemistry from Pepperdine University.
