Meredyth Grant has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Broadcast Journalist for Sky News. In 2007, they moved to the British Army as a Media Operations Officer. The following year, they took on the role of Marketing Coordinator for Barum and Dewar. In 2010, they returned to the British Army as a Communications and PR Officer for 3 Commando Brigade, where they were deployed to Afghanistan on Op HERRICK 14 and was awarded a Joint Commanders Commendation for Meritorious Service. In 2011, they founded and acted as Communications Lead for Charlie Charlie One. In 2018, they worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist for Fieldsports Channel. In 2019, they took on the role of Head of Communications for Dryad Global. In 2020, they worked as both a Communications Consultant for TechVets and a Head of Communications for Acuity Trading. Finally, in 2022, they became Head of Communications for Universal Defence and Security Solutions.
Meredyth Grant has a varied educational background. In 2001, they earned a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language from the University of Leeds. Meredyth then went on to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from City, University of London in 2004-2005. In 2007-2008, they completed a NATO SLP Diploma course in Arabic Language at the Defence School of Languages. In 2010, they earned a Professional Certificate in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Most recently, in 2018, they completed a Digital Marketing Leadership course developed with Google from Squared Online. Meredyth also has additional certifications, such as a LinkedIn Marketing Strategy from LinkedIn (2022), a HubSpot Solutions Partner from HubSpot Academy (2021), and a CIM MCIM Member from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing (2021).
