Adam Kool

Adam Kool has extensive work experience in product design, starting in 2009 at IBM as a Usability Team Lead. Adam then worked as a Freelance Product Designer from 2010 to 2013, collaborating with startups and creating design libraries. From 2013 to 2015, Adam worked as a Product Designer at Bower Labs Inc., focusing on enterprise-level applications. Adam then joined Sprout, now part of TELUS Health, as a Lead Product Designer from 2015 to 2020, where they led the design of Sprout's suite of applications. After that, Adam worked at Nuula (acquired by Nav Technologies, Inc.) as a Senior Product Designer from 2020 to 2021, responsible for defining and launching their first application, and later became the Head of Product Design from 2021 to 2022, collaborating with the C-Suite. Adam then transitioned to Nav Technologies, Inc., where they served as the Head of Product Design from 2022 to 2023, leading the design and integration of key parts of the Nuula application into mobile and web platforms. Currently, Adam is the Director of Product Design at illumin (AcuityAds Inc.) starting in 2023.

Adam Kool has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ontario Tech University, with a major in E-Commerce and a minor in Marketing.
