May Chen

May Chen is currently a Data and Policy Analyst at Acumen, LLC, focusing on a research team for the Department of Justice since August 2023. Previously, May served as a Research Assistant at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, contributing to the Corbett Ryan Project, which involved a million-dollar research initiative aimed at detecting neonatal neuromotor risks. During that role, May significantly reduced project turnaround time by over 80% through the development of data visualization tools. As an Erikson Fellow at UChicago Medicine, May implemented strategies to enhance sleep for inpatients in acute stroke rehabilitation through comprehensive interviews and presentations.
