Giulia Menichetti

Food Systems Fellow

Giulia Menichetti is an accomplished academic with a focus on food systems and complex networks, currently serving as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Lecturer in Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, both since August 2022. With a robust research background as a Principal Investigator on NIH and AHA projects, Giulia leads the Foodome Project and has received recognition through various speaking engagements and publications, including a cover feature in Nature Food Journal. Previous roles include Senior Research Scientist and Associate Research Scientist at Northeastern University and the Center for Complex Network Research, alongside a solid educational foundation with a PhD in Physics from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Additionally, Giulia has a unique background as a former professional volleyball player in Italy.
