Hasan Anwer

Hasan Anwer is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Pakistan Environment Trust, focusing on carbon offsets and facilitating a low carbon transition in Pakistan. Previously, Hasan co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer at EnMass Energy, leading projects to harness agricultural biomass for off-grid power generation. Additionally, Hasan held the position of Director of Project Development at 501Carbon and worked as a Project Consultant for R20 - Regions of Climate Action. Hasan holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis with a focus on climate change from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
