Lara Gulia

Lara Gulia is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Program Associate with India Fellows at Acumen since November 2023. Previously, Lara held the position of Chief of Design & Innovation at Uninhibited from May 2021 to July 2022 and worked as a Senior Executive-Program at Tata Trusts from July 2016 to May 2021. During the tenure at Tata Trusts, Lara focused on designing and implementing large-scale Behavior Change Programmes in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, particularly emphasizing Menstrual Hygiene Management and various community initiatives across 12 Indian states. Lara started as a Programme Associate-Trainee at Tata Trusts, where the Menstrual Hygiene Management Programme was initiated in Uttarakhand. Lara's educational background includes a Diploma in Integrated Counselling from HTH Institute, a PG Diploma in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University, an MA in Social Work in Counselling from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and a B.Sc. in Psychology Honours from Loreto College, Kolkata.
