Alexander Murray

Alexander Murray has a diverse work experience in the field of network security and support. Alexander is currently working as a Senior Network Engineer at Acumera, Inc since October 2018. In this role, they design future network security architecture, troubleshoots issues with current architecture, and creates procedures for the support department and installation engineers.

Before joining Acumera, Alexander worked at Netsurion from August 2015. There, they held the position of Network Security Engineer. Their responsibilities included installing and troubleshooting Juniper and Fortinet firewalls, ensuring networks are set up according to PCI standards, and troubleshooting VPNs, VLANs, and routing tables.

Prior to Netsurion, Alexander worked at Vendor Safe Technologies from March 2013 to August 2015. Alexander started as a Network Analyst, providing and maintaining network security support for customers. Alexander then moved on to become a Senior NOC Analyst and later a Support Center Assistant Manager. In these roles, they troubleshooted network connectivity issues related to Juniper security appliances and utilized ticketing systems for problem resolution.

Alexander's earlier work experience includes a role as a Computer Salesperson at Best Buy from February 2009 to May 2011.

Alexander Murray received a degree in Technology Management with a field of study in Information Technology from Texas A&M University, where they attended from 2012 to 2015.
