Chris Burton

Chris Burton has extensive work experience in software development and management.

Chris is currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Acumera, Inc. Since joining the company in July 2020, their responsibilities include developing MVC-style web applications using PHP and JavaScript, integrating with external APIs, and coordinating with peer apps for backup and security scanning systems.

Prior to their current role, Chris worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Hill Country Codesmith, Inc. starting in February 2014.

From January 2009 to February 2014, Chris served as a Technology Manager at Bio-Medical Services. Their duties included maintaining and updating a WAMP-based business and operations management system for a veterinary reference lab, recommending and implementing features and improvements utilizing third-party APIs and protocols.

From 2006 to 2008, Chris was a Partner at Helios Consulting, where they contributed to various projects.

Chris also held positions at Hoover's Inc, The Rensselaerville Institute, Community TechKnowledge, Wesson International, Sheshunoff Information Services, and IBM Global Services.

Chris Burton attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a field of study in Electrical Engineering (EE).
