Fernando Alves

Fernando Alves has a diverse background in the field of technology, with experience ranging from support technician to devops engineer. Fernando began their career at INFOX Tecnologia da Informação LTDA as a support technician in 2013. Fernando then moved on to Empresa Sergipana de Tecnologia da Informação - EMGETIS, where they worked as a systems and network administrator from 2013 to 2015.

In 2007, Alves joined FC Soluções as the chief administrator, a role they held until 2020. During this time, they gained valuable leadership and management skills. In 2015, they transitioned to Solutis Tecnologias, where they worked as an information technology analyst and later as a technology analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for monitoring and managing the Sergipe state government's CORE, Firewall, Antispam, VPN, Internet, and data circuits.

Alves expanded their expertise by working at Oi as a security solutions architect from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are working at Acumera, Inc as a DevOps Engineer. Throughout their career, Alves has demonstrated a strong technical acumen and a commitment to continuously improving their skills in the technology field.

Fernando Alves began their education journey in 2009, studying at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas. Fernando pursued a Technologist degree in Computer Networks and completed their studies in 2013. In the same year, Fernando obtained certifications in LPIC-2 from LPI and CompTIA Linux+ from CompTIA.

After a brief break, Fernando enrolled at FANESE in 2014 and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Network and System Security in 2016. During this time, in 2016 and 2017, they also attended Escola Superior Aberta do Brasil to enhance their knowledge in Sistemas de Telecomunicações.

Fernando's educational journey continued as they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at Universidade Federal de Sergipe from 2016 to 2018. Fernando recently added another certification to their profile in 2021, becoming a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4: Certified Professional from Fortinet.
