Luis Gonzalez has a diverse range of work experience in software development and engineering. Luis began their career as an intern at Pratt & Whitney, where they worked on projects involving C# and WebSphere MQ. Luis also had another internship at NAVSEA Warfare Centers, where they developed dynamic web applications using ExtJS and Perl.
After their internships, Luis worked as a web/app developer at Doctoresdepuertorico.com, where they gained experience in web and app development. Luis then moved on to Artisoft Labs, where they developed web apps for gas station administrators and a web service for medical laboratories.
Luis then joined General Motors as a software developer, where they led the infrastructure project for HPSA v10.20. Luis also worked with JavaScript and Java backend to develop web applications and perform health checks and tests.
Following their time at General Motors, Luis worked as a systems engineer at Younicos, where they focused on the redesign and development of quality management software using PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, and other technologies. Luis also handled data visualization, automation, and backup tasks.
Next, Luis joined Acumera, Inc as a senior PHP developer. Luis played a key role in developing the Acuvigil Dashboard web application and a cross-platform mobile application for Android and iOS. Luis also worked on enhancing and fixing issues with the web app and developed features and apps that interacted with merchant gateways.
Most recently, Luis worked as the President of Pixeltech Labs, where they developed custom RFID/Barcode integrated solutions. This involved designing, building, deploying, and testing hybrid mobile applications using Ionic framework. Luis integrated various devices and technologies, such as Cipherlabs handhelds, Alien RFID fixed readers, Zebra Fixed/Mobile RFID readers, and more.
Throughout their career, Luis has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, including PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, Java, JavaScript, ExtJS, Perl, and WebSphere MQ. Luis has consistently taken on roles with increasing responsibility and has proven their ability to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
Luis Gonzalez completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 2014. In 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to their university education, Luis earned their High School Diploma from Academia Inmaculada Concepcion in 2006.
