I have been practicing for over 25 years now and specialise in Japanese hara (abdominal) diagnosis and treatment.

I started my training in Tokyo in 1987 and completed my degree-level studies at ICOM Acupuncture College and The London School of Acupuncture.  I am currently a fully-licensed practitioner and my practice is based in Vauxhall in Central London. 

This style of Japanese acupuncture is based on the work of Kiiko Matsumoto Sensei and uses very fine needles to correct the energetic imbalances which have been diagnosed via careful palpation and questioning. The patient will rarely feel much more than the mildest pin prick (indeed strong pain is likely to prevent the treatment working) but will be aware that the treatment is working through the changes that can be felt in their abdominal reflexes, symptoms and sense of well-being.
