Dr. Paul August, PhD, Co-Founder, has held key scientific and leadership roles for over 20 years with the global pharmaceutical company Sanofi, and presently as Head of Rare Genetic Disease Biology at Agios Pharmaceuticals. He has extensive drug discovery and development experience, and particularly in neuromuscular disease. Dr. August’s research has been particularly focused on developing disease-relevant, human-stem-cell-derived models.
