Scott Abbott is an experienced Technical Manager and Inspector with a strong background in integrity assessments and visual inspections of pressure vessels and tanks. Currently at Acuren since August 2015, Scott performs various assessments while interpreting industry codes and standards such as ASME and ASTM. Prior to this role, Scott served as Chief Inspector at Integrity Testing Services Inc., overseeing quality management for pressure equipment in the oil and gas sector, and held positions as Senior Inspector at Western Quality Services. Scott's career began at Acuren as an NDE Technician, specializing in turbine overhauls and component examinations. Scott holds a diploma in Materials Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, obtained in 2002.
