Chris Engel

Chris Engel is an experienced industrial designer with a robust background in sports equipment and automotive interior design. Currently serving as an Advanced Senior Industrial Designer at Acushnet Company since October 2021, Chris specializes in golf club design, contributing to projects like the TSr1 metalwoods and Vokey SM10 wedge. Prior to Acushnet, Chris held the title of Senior Industrial Designer at COBRA PUMA GOLF, where significant contributions were made to various metalwoods and headcovers, including the King Aerojet and King LTDx. Chris also gained experience in freelance design for brands such as S-Yard Golf Japan and Notion Home Security. Earlier career highlights include designing golf club concepts at Titleist Golf and creating automotive seating for major brands at Lear Corporation. Chris holds a Master's degree in Industrial Design from the ArtCenter College of Design and a BFA in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies.
