Sam Aigen

Sam Aigen is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in process safety consulting and engineering within the petrochemical and manufacturing industries. As a Principal Engineer at AcuTech Consulting Group since September 2014, Sam has specialized in facilitating PHA (HAZOP) and LOPA analyses, conducting quantitative risk assessments, and supporting facility siting. Prior to this, Sam worked at ExxonMobil from August 2008 to September 2014, where roles included Hydroprocessing Process Engineer and Distillation Process Engineer, with responsibilities ranging from reactor vessel design to process optimization and troubleshooting for various refinery units. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
