Dan Buckmaster is an engineering leader and entrepreneur currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Research and Development at ACV Auctions. Previously, they founded and led Tresca Design, a consulting firm specializing in engineering services from 2017 to 2024. Dan has held various roles within academic settings, including a Teaching Assistant position at the University at Buffalo Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Fellow at the Prentice Family Foundation’s Western New York Prosperity Fellowship. They also contributed to significant aerospace projects as a Design/Development Project Engineer at Moog Aircraft and gained experience through research at the University at Buffalo.
