Timothy

Timothy Ace has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Timothy started their career as an Applications Developer SA at SUNY at Buffalo - Administrative Computing Services in 2001, where they were responsible for maintaining and developing key university systems. Timothy then moved on to freelance web development roles at both SUNY at Buffalo - Administrative Computing Services and SUNY at Buffalo - Creative Services. During this time, they also worked as a Web Developer SA at SUNY at Buffalo - Creative Services, where they played a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the university's website and related applications. In 2004, Timothy joined Synacor, initially as a Freelance Web Developer and later as the Manager of Client Integrations Engineering, Architect - Identity Management, and Senior Consulting Software Engineer. Timothy worked at Synacor until 2021, gaining extensive experience in software engineering and client integrations. Most recently, Timothy became the Director of Software Engineering at iMDS - An iMedia Brand, Inc. Company in 2021 and is set to take on the role of Director of Engineering at ACV Auctions in 2023.

Timothy Ace received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained the PHP Certified Engineer certification from Zend Technologies in 2005.
