James Thomas

James Thomas is a highly experienced quality engineer and software testing professional, currently serving as a Senior Expert Quality Engineer at Ada Health since March 2021. Previously, James held the position of Vice President at the Association for Software Testing from August 2019 to October 2023. James has an extensive background at Linguamatics, where roles included Head of Testing, Founder, and Head of Development, Tech Support, and Technical Writing, spanning from 2002 to December 2020. Additional experience includes research roles at EBI and SRI International. James holds a PhD in Computational Linguistics and an MPhil in Computer Speech and Language Processing from the University of Cambridge, as well as a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
