Daniel Verret

Daniel Verret was appointed as Adacel's Chief Executive Officer in April 2020. Mr. Verret joined Adacel in October 2018 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer to oversee the group’s finance, information technology, and human resources departments and was appointed as acting CEO in July 2019.

Mr. Verret brings over 20 years of corporate business experience across multiple industries, including software technology, aerospace, digital media, and telecommunications. During the span of his career, Daniel has led business transformations, corporate finance activities, and mergers and acquisitions, most recently as Executive Director at Telecon between 2015 and 2018.

Between 2002 and 2014, Mr. Verret held numerous executive positions at Yellow Pages where he oversaw financial reporting, accounting, and administrative services. Daniel played an instrumental role in the company’s $1 billion initial public offering as well as its subsequent growth into one of Canada’s leading media companies. He also served on the Board of directors of a high-growth Canadian digital media company.

Mr. Verret is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University. He is also a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
