Romain Beguet

Romain Beguet has worked as a Software Engineer at AdaCore since 2018. In this role, they are currently working on projects such as Libadalang, a syntactic and semantic analysis engine for Ada code, and Langkit, a meta-compiler for generating Libadalang.

Before AdaCore, Romain was a Software Engineer Intern at AdaCore in 2017.

Prior to their time at AdaCore, Romain worked as a Software Engineer at LIPID from 2015 to 2016. In this role, they designed and built applications related to parsing Energy Plus Weather files, generating dynamic web pages, and real-time video streaming using C libraries such as libavcodec.

Additionally, Romain had a brief stint as a Software Engineer at LIPID in 2015, where they primarily worked on the Lightsolve software and completed tasks involving interprocess communication, logging, SVG image generation, automatic email sending, and GPU capabilities detection.

Romain Beguet pursued their education in computer science at EPFL (\u00c9cole polytechnique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne). From 2012 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor's degree in computer science. Later, from 2015 to 2018, Romain obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in computer science from the same institution.
