Embedded Software Engineer at Adafruit

Thach Ha has had a long and varied career in software engineering. In 2009, they began working at Altera as a DSP Software Engineer. Later that same year, they joined NXP Semiconductors as an Application Engineer. During their time there, they were responsible for developing peripheral drivers and examples for LPC series of micro-controllers, as well as maintaining and improving the commercial USB stack for NXP's Automotive silicon. In 2012, they started working at Gimper SZ Technology as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they led the development of a Jennet mesh network lighting system. Thach also began a hobby project, TinyUSB, which has since become an open-source cross-platform USB Host/Device stack for embedded systems. In 2014, they joined Adafruit Industries as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing Arduino BSP cores and libraries, including Adafruit_nRF52_Arduino and Adafruit_TinyUSB_Arduino.

Thach Ha obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering (Honor Program) from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology between 2004 and 2009.
