Ashley Gardner

Ashley Gardner has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. Ashley is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Adairs Retail Group since August 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional CFO at Woolworths and CFO at both Country Road Group and David Jones from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Just Group from 2007 to 2016 and at Country Road from 2000 to 2006.

Ashley Gardner has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Melbourne, which was obtained from 1989 to 1992. In 1994-1995, they completed the Chartered Accountant program from the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2014, Ashley attended the London Business School for the Senior Executive Program. Recently, in 2018-2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Melbourne Business School. Additionally, Ashley obtained a GAICD certification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019.
