Giulia Orecchini

Giulia Orecchini is currently a Senior Researcher at Università degli Studi di Perugia, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Product Developer and Project Manager at ADANT from 2019-2022. From 2018-2019, they were a Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. From 2016-2018, Giulia was a Business Development Manager at HF srl, where they were responsible for strategic management, innovation and proposal management, feasibility studies, design and implementation of integrated BFN, and development and realization of a predistorter for fiber optic transmissions. From 2012-2016, they were a Research Fellow at University of Perugia, where they were involved in the creation of environmentally friendly wireless demonstrators and the implementation of energy-efficient new generation intelligent lighting systems.

Giulia Orecchini obtained their MSC in Electronic Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Perugia between 2000 and 2008, specializing in automotive antenna systems. Giulia then pursued a PhD in Information Engineering from the same institution between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, they were a PhD Candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2009 and 2010, specializing in RFID systems.
