Chris Dejong

Chris Dejong is an experienced technology leader in the life sciences field, currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at Adapsyn Bioscience since July 2018, where responsibilities include envisioning and integrating AI across platforms. Previously, Chris held the role of Senior Software Developer at Adapsyn Bioscience, acting as the lead developer and architect. Prior to this, Chris operated as a freelance informatics data scientist and software developer from March 2016 to July 2018, focusing on data transformation and novel software development. Chris also contributed to McMaster University as Lead Research Informatician and Informatics Technician. Academic qualifications include an altMBA from Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops, a Master's Degree in Biology with a focus on bioinformatics from McMaster University, and an H.B.Sc. in General Biology from the same institution.
