Jonathan Berns

Jonathan Berns is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in development and vulnerability analysis. Currently working as an Open Source Developer on a personal project utilizing Flask, Jonathan also serves as a Vulnerability and Scanning Analyst Subject Matter Expert at Adapt Forward. Prior roles include Director of Cybersecurity Engineering at Netizen Corporation, Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at GRSi, and Vulnerability Analyst/System Engineer at KSH Solutions, where notable achievements included receiving top recognition during a DISA audit and developing a vulnerability reporting application. Earlier experience at Savannah River Remediation LLC involved liaising on cybersecurity for the Department of Energy and contributing to critical business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Network Security from the University of Advancing Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Augusta State University, and an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Augusta Technical College.
