Robert Giddings

Robert Giddings is a seasoned software developer and product manager with extensive experience in various roles since 2006. Currently at The Adaptavist Group, Robert has taken on multiple roles, from software development for the Microscope application for Jira using Java and React JavaScript to product management for Developer Tools, including ScriptRunner for Bitbucket and Bamboo. Previous positions include software development at Specsavers, specializing in cloud technologies and micro-service architectures, as well as full-stack development at Clearvision within an Agile environment. Earlier experience includes roles at Bertram Books and Netcase Web Solutions, where Robert contributed to bespoke content management systems and led the software development lifecycle for patent management systems. Robert holds an MSc in E-Commerce Technology and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Essex.
