Willard Beckmann

Willard (Butch) Beckmann is the US Head of Quality at Adaptimmune, where they oversee quality operations for autologous T-cell therapies at locations in Philadelphia and Boston. With over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, they have a strong background in Quality and Process Development, ensuring compliance for a diverse range of therapeutic products. Beckmann has held various roles at notable companies such as Takeda and Shire, contributing to global regulatory submissions and quality risk management. They are currently pursuing degrees in Anatomy and Physiology at Boston College and Neurobiology at Tufts University, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bates College.
