Michael Dauer

Michael Dauer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the healthcare and academic sectors. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Lab Assistant and later pursued their Master's degree while working as a Lab Assistant at the University of Washington until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Laboratory Manager at Claremont McKenna College. In 2009, they became a Clinical Research Coordinator at MultiCare Health System. In 2011, they joined Providence Health & Services as a Molecular Technologist until 2013. Michael then worked as a Clinical Laboratory Manager at the University of Washington - School of Medicine from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they joined Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where they held several positions, including Laboratory Technical Supervisor, Sr. Manager of Molecular Lab Operations, Associate Director of Operations, Associate Director of MLO Technical Operations, and currently serves as the Director of Molecular Laboratory Operations since October 2022. Michael Dauer's work experience showcases their expertise in laboratory operations and management within the healthcare and biotechnology industries.

Michael Dauer has a strong education background in the field of biology. From 2000 to 2004, they attended the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor's degree in the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences. Following that, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from 2004 to 2007.

In terms of certifications, Michael Dauer is a Molecular Biology Specialist, which they obtained from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in June 2013. Michael is also a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, obtained from the ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals in February 2009.

Looking ahead, Michael is planning to pursue an additional degree. In 2022, they are enrolled at Eastern Washington University - College of Business, where they will be working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health Services Administration.
