Riaan Venter

Riaan Venter has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Riaan currently works as the Director of Post Sales Support at Adaptive Computing. In this role, they are responsible for presales, proof of concepts, demonstrations, implementations, and training. Prior to this, Riaan started their own organization called R & R Decadent Deli, where they managed daily meal preparations and deliveries, leveraging their contacts from their previous organization, The RiRon Group. Riaan also briefly worked as a New Business Consultant at XBC Business Technology, bringing in new business as a sales representative before the company experienced financial difficulties. Riaan previously restarted and managed The RiRon Group, a company specializing in perfumes, bath products, and household chemicals, but had to close it down due to financial challenges. Riaan also worked as a Consultant for ALA Services Technology Companies, focusing on mainframe sites and rebuilding contact relationships. Riaan's earlier experience includes roles as the CEO and Owner of The RiRon Group, Director of Enterprise Solutions Engineers at ASG Technologies, Senior Operator at Nedbank, Shift Leader at Datavia, and an Instructor in the South African National Defence Force. Throughout their career, Riaan has demonstrated a passion for the software/IT industry and building long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.

Riaan Venter attended Ladysmith High School from 1981 to 1985 but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study during that time. In addition, Riaan Venter has acquired two additional certifications: "Introduction to C++" from edX in November 2019 and "Introduction to Linux" from The Linux Foundation in October 2019.
