Kevin Ong

Kevin Ong's work experience includes:

- Software Engineer at Adaptive3D Technologies since September 2021.

- Automation Developer at Palo Alto Networks from August 2020 to September 2021, where they designed end-to-end automation solutions and led exploratory work for smart automation options.

- Senior Design at PepsiCo from September 2019 to August 2020, responsible for developing firmware for an automated production line testing machine utilizing computer vision.

- Automation Intern at Palo Alto Networks from May 2019 to September 2019, where they worked on process automation scripts and visual dashboards, developed production-ready automation processes, and deployed them, saving hundreds of hours annually.

- CCAR Risk Data Science Intern at Citi from May 2018 to December 2018.

- Researcher at The University of Texas at Dallas, working in the Advanced Polymer Research Laboratory from May 2016 to May 2018 and in the Center for Engineering Innovation from May 2015 to May 2018.

- HBS Peek Weekend participant at Harvard Business School in 2018, where they gained exposure to business cases and strategic situations.

- Researcher at MIT School of Engineering in 2016, focusing on understanding design requirements for future implantable chronic brain implants and creating models for brain probe aging and failure rate forecasting.

Kevin Ong pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they became an Affiliate Student at UCL, where they focused on Statistical Science. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Kevin completed their high school education at the University of North Texas from 2014 to 2016 and at Jasper High School from 2012 to 2014. Kevin attended Rice Middle School from 2009 to 2012.

Additionally, Kevin has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Kevin completed the course on "Applying Machine Learning to Engineering and Science" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in December 2021. In the same month, they also obtained the certification for "Machine Learning, Modeling, and Simulation: Engineering Problem-Solving in the Age of AI" and "Machine Learning, Modeling, and Simulation Principles" from MIT. Moreover, Kevin earned the "Google Cloud Platform" certification from Google in March 2021 and the "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" certification from Coursera in November 2020. Kevin also completed the "Machine Learning" course from Coursera in July 2020.
