Saqib Risalat

Saqib Risalat has a diverse background in database administration. Saqib started their career as a Junior Database Administrator at NAUSAL TECHNOLOGIES in 2015. Saqib gained advanced proficiency in SQL development methodologies and was responsible for designing and managing data modeling and database schema based on business requirements. Saqib also had experience in identifying and resolving performance issues.

In 2018, Saqib joined Smart Placement (Pvt) Ltd as an Associate Database Administrator. During their time there, they specialized in the financial domain and gained experience working with Aurora MySQL and Athena. Saqib was responsible for setting and maintaining database standards, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting database errors.

Most recently, Saqib worked as a Database Engineer at ADAPTURE starting in 2020. In this role, they had a strong command in SQL/PLSQL, MySQL, and PL/PgSQL queries. Saqib was proficient in PostgreSQL and had hands-on experience in PgSQL. Saqib was responsible for SQL query optimization and performance tuning. Saqib also maintained and developed new database objects such as tables, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes, and constraints.

Saqib Risalat completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bahria University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued pre-engineering at Punjab College Rawalpindi from 2010 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Saqib obtained several accreditations from Cloudflare, including the Cloudflare Accredited Services Architect, Cloudflare Accredited Configuration Engineer, and Cloudflare Accredited Sales Professional in June and July 2022. Saqib also acquired certification in SQL Server Administration from Udemy. Saqib has pursued additional certifications in various subjects, including CockroachDB and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, but the specific months and years of completion are unknown.
