Michael Decuir has worked in the technology industry since 2002. Michael began as a Lab Helper at the University of Washington, a role they held for three years. Michael then transitioned to a Research Technologist role at the same institution, where they developed data analysis tools using Excel and LabView, developed new DNA monitoring and enzymatic assays, and published three journal articles. In 2008, they moved to Meridian Valley Laboratory, where they served as a Medical Lab Technician, Acting DBA, and Acting Database Developer. In 2010, they joined Allrecipes.com as a SQL Server Database Administrator. In 2013, they moved to Vulcan, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2019, they joined AdaptX as a Senior Software Engineer. At AdaptX, they have helped deliver over $25 million per year in financial gains for a hospital, across high acuity services.
Michael Decuir received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2006. Michael then returned to the University of Washington in 2012 to complete a Certificate in Data Science.
