Sarah Ormston has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Sarah began their career as a Sales Assistant, Office Assistant, and Financial Assistant at Eason & Son Ltd from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they worked as a Publicity Assistant at Maverick House, where they formulated and implemented publicity plans and liaised with authors. From 2007 to 2013, Sarah worked as a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive at Poolbeg Press Ltd, creating integrated marketing campaigns and pitching books to buyers and media contacts. In 2014, they joined UNICEF Ireland as a Direct Marketing Executive, managing direct mail campaigns and selecting external agencies. Sarah is currently working as the Director of Marketing at Adare Manor since 2014, where they manage social media platforms, communications, and corporate external public relations.

Sarah Ormston attended the University of Limerick from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Language and Cultural Studies. In 2007, they enrolled in a program offered by the Irish Book Publishers' Association and completed courses in Proofreading 1 & 2. From 2011 to 2013, Sarah pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing at the National College of Ireland.
