James Packer

James Packer is a Technical Director in Ecology with extensive experience in vertebrate ecology and management. They have served as the Chairman of the Rarities Committee for the Somerset Ornithological Society since 2000, where they assess descriptions of rare and scarce birds in Somerset. In 2021, James held the position of Technical Director at ADAS, and previously worked as an Associate Director and Principal Ecology Consultant, overseeing line management and European Protected Species licensing.
