Marcus de Jonge

Marcus De Jonge is an experienced professional in the aerospace and defense industry, currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at ADASI since July 2023. Prior to this role, Marcus held multiple leadership positions at HENSOLDT Optronics (Pty) Ltd, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operations Officer, from January 2019 to August 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Manager of Development, Research & Technology at HENSOLDT and various managerial roles at Denel Dynamics, where responsibilities encompassed missile programmes and air-to-air missile systems. Marcus began the career as a Weapons System Engineer with the South African Air Force and also gained project management and systems engineering experience at Saab Aerosystems, focusing on the Gripen fighter aircraft. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
