Software Engineer at ADAXIS

Efe Arikan has four years of work experience. In 2017, they were an Intern at Arcelik-LG. In 2018, they were an R&D Engineering Intern at milklab Agency, where they worked closely with a team of engineers on the requirements and status of the project, developed software for an interactive kiosk, and prepared necessary hardware components. In 2021, they were a Master Thesis Student at Fraunhofer Institute for High-Speed-Dynamics, Ernst-Mach-Institut, EMI, where they conducted research on path planning algorithms with a focus on human motion, integrated new algorithms into the agent-based simulation tool for crowd simulation, and investigated potential ways of creating more realistic paths. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at ADAXIS.

Efe Arikan has a diverse educational background. From 2010 to 2015, they attended Özel Saint Benoét Fransız Lisesi / Lycée Français Saint Benoét. From 2015 to 2019, they studied Mechatronics Engineering at Sabanci University, and in 2018 they were an exchange student at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Efe is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Embedded Systems Engineering at The University of Freiburg, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their formal education, Efe Arikan has obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Self Driving Cars from the University of Toronto in December 2020, DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer from deeplearning.ai in July 2020, DELF B2 from the French Ministry of Education in June 2015, and IELTS from the British Council in April 2019.
