Gavin Marchio

Gavin Marchio has extensive experience in strategy, business development, and financial management spanning over three decades in various roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Manager of Strategy and Business Development at Adelaide Brighton Ltd since August 2011, Gavin’s corporate development work encompasses mergers and acquisitions and strategy formulation. Prior roles include Group Commercial Manager at Crane Group Limited, where responsibilities included corporate acquisitions and growth strategy, and Commercial Manager (Divisional CFO) at Crane Metals Distribution, focusing on finance functions for a significant industrial metals distribution division. Previous experience also includes financial controller and accounting management positions in diverse sectors, contributing to significant financial oversight and strategy development throughout a career that began as a Taxation Inspector and Audit Manager. Gavin holds an MBA in Strategy and Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and additional qualifications in accounting and tax law from the University of the Witwatersrand.
